DIY Handmade Bubble Makers
Here’s what you’ll need for this DIY project:
BUBBLE SOLUTION:
- 1/5 gallon hot water (slightly more than 3 cups)
- 1 cup liquid dish soap
- 4 tbsp. glycerin
- 2 long sticks
- One 3-foot-long string
- One 1.5-foot-long string
- Pipe cleaners (for smaller wands)
MAKING THE BUBBLE SOLUTION:
- Gently mix the bubble solution ingredients together. If things get a bit messy, no worries! Wet Ones is always there to get those hands clean.
- Let the solution sit overnight. The longer you leave the mixture, the better your bubbles will be.
MAKING YOUR GIANT BUBBLE WAND:
- Knot each end of the 3-foot-long string to the top of each stick.
- Knot the shorter string to the long string to make a semicircle shape facing down.
- Dunk it in the bubbles and take off running!
MAKING DIY PIPE CLEANER WANDS:
- Twist pipe cleaners together to form your bubble shape and handle.
- Dip the shape in the bubbles, then start blowing.
No matter how old you are, bubbles are always tons of fun. See who in the family can create the largest one. When you're done catching bubbles, grab some Wet Ones Wipes to wipe off the soapy suds from your hands.
